Why Shilpani

Not a print.
A presence.

Every Shilpani frame is hand-finished on premium acrylic, layered for depth, and built to live in your pooja room, your meditation corner, or wherever you go to feel still.

We do not mass-produce. We craft, with care, with story, with the silence the deity deserves.

The Craft

From a sketch
to a sanctuary.

Three deliberate steps. Eight days of work. One piece you'll live with for decades.

The Vision

We start with a pencil sketch on textured paper, drawn from classical iconography. Each pose, mudra, and proportion is checked against reference folios before approval.

The Layering

12-colour pigments are layered onto premium acrylic, building optical depth no flat print can match. Every piece is checked in morning, midday, and tungsten light.

The Frame

Hand-mitred in your choice of Honey, Walnut, or Natural wood — or shipped frame-less for a contemporary float. Hardware, level, and care card included.

The Craft

Every piece passes through nine pairs of hands.

From the master colourist who matches each pigment to traditional folio references, to the brass-smith who hand-finishes every frame's bevel, our process is unhurried by design.

We work with seventh-generation framers in the bylanes of Jaipur's old city. They taught us that a frame is not a container, it is a threshold. The first thing the eye crosses before the prayer begins.
